GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The CXLC8L049 is an 8-bit single chip micro-controller. It is one of CXLC8 series products. Its memory capacity includes 80 bytes SRAM, 2K *14 bits ROM. Other features include timer RTC and timer TCC, two groups I/O ports, a programmable sound generator (PJTMS) and a LCD module are built in the chip. The LCD module is capable of driving up to 19 segments and up to 4 commons and it supports 1/2 bias or 1/3 bias.

Micro-controller Features
l Operating voltage rang: 1.2-2.2V.
l Operating frequency up to 500KHz. (An instruction cycle equals to 2 oscillator periods)
l 2K*14 bits mask ROM.
l 80*8 bits SRAM.
l I/O pins: P1.0~P1.4, P2.0~P2.7. P1.4, P2.6, P2.7 can be used as OSCI, BZ, BZB by mask option.
l 4 level stacks for subroutine nesting.
l Clock Sources
- 32768Hz crystal oscillator with external crystal.
- RC oscillator with external resistor.
l Oscillator mode
- 32768Hz crystal oscillator and RC oscillator are both available. - 32768Hz crystal oscillator work only. - 32768Hz crystal oscillator and RC oscillator work together. - RC oscillator is available only.
l When 32768Hz crystal oscillator and RC oscillator work together, MCU supports five work modes to reduce the current consumer.
- Normal: MCU, 32768Hz clock and RC oscillator turn on.
- Slow: MCU and 32768Hz clock turn on, RC oscillator turn off.
- Sleep: MCU and 32768Hz clock turn off, RC oscillator turn off.
- Idle: MCU turn off, 32768Hz clock turn on, RC oscillator turn off.
l When RC oscillator is available only, MCU supports three work modes to reduce the current consumer.
- Normal: MCU and RC oscillator turn on.
- Idle: MCU turn off, RC oscillator turn on.
- Sleep: MCU and RC oscillator turn off.
l When 32768Hz crystal oscillator work only, MCU supports three work modes to reduce the current consumer.
- Slow: MCU and 32768Hz crystal oscillator turn on.
- Idle: MCU turn off, 32768Hz crystal oscillator turn on.
- Sleep: MCU and 32768Hz crystal oscillator turn off.
l Interrupt sources:
- 1 software interrupt (by excuting ‗INT‘ instruction)
- 3 hardware interrupt sources :RTC overflow interrupt, TCC overflow interrupt, 1 external interrupt (P2.0/INT).
l Built-in programmable sound generator (PJTMS).
l Built-in power on reset (POR).
l Oscillator Start-up Timer (OST).
l CMOS technology for low power consumption.
LCD Module Features
l LCD operation current:
- Stand by current:<4uA
l 57(3*19) dots (1/2 bias, 1/3 duty).
