    CXSD61022A is a wide input voltage, high efficiency CC step-down DC/DC converter that operates in either CV (Constant Output Voltage) mode or CC (Constant Output Current) mode. CXSD61022A provides up to 2.5A output current at 125kHz switching frequency.I8w嘉泰姆
      CXSD61022A provides OVP pin for output over voltage protection.Protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limit,thermal shutdown, and frequency foldback at short circuit. The devices are available in a SOP-8EP package and require very few external devices for operation.I8w嘉泰姆

As seen in Functional Block Diagram, the CXSD61022A isI8w嘉泰姆
a Constant On Time (COT) mode pulse widthI8w嘉泰姆
modulation (PWM) converter with CC and CV control.I8w嘉泰姆
The converter operates as follows:I8w嘉泰姆
The main loop of CXSD61022A uses a COT mode controlI8w嘉泰姆
which provides a very fast transient response with noI8w嘉泰姆
external component and no need loop compensation.I8w嘉泰姆
The CXSD61022A also adopt a proprietary circuit thatI8w嘉泰姆
ensures enable use very low ESR capacitor to maintainI8w嘉泰姆
loop stability.I8w嘉泰姆
turns on. The high side MOSFET is turn off afterI8w嘉泰姆
internal one shot timer expires. This one shot time isI8w嘉泰姆
set by VIN and VOUT to maintain a constant frequency.I8w嘉泰姆
The one shot timer is reset and high side MOSFETI8w嘉泰姆
turns on again when feedback voltage falls below theI8w嘉泰姆
reference voltage. An internal ramp is generating toI8w嘉泰姆
simulate output ripple, eliminating the need for ESRI8w嘉泰姆
induced output ripple from COT control mode. WhenI8w嘉泰姆
high side MOSFET turns off, the SW node of theI8w嘉泰姆
inductor swings to a diode voltage below ground,I8w嘉泰姆
causing the inductor current to decrease and magneticI8w嘉泰姆
energy to be transferred to output. This state continuesI8w嘉泰姆
until the next cycle start againI8w嘉泰姆
