The CXLC8L280B is a 280 dots LCD driver. It develops from the mcu, which includes 8-bit CPU core, mask program ROM, SRAM, TIMER and PJTMS. It can also provide interrupt function and wakeup function from stand by mode. The LCD module is capable of driving up to 35 segments and up to 8 commons and supports 280(8*35) dots (1/8duty, 1/4 bias) or 4*35(1/4 duty, 1/3 bias) or (1/3 duty, 1/2 bias). The device is suitable for use in multiple LCD low power applications such as game products, leisure products, etc. handheld LCD products and batteries operated systems in particular.

          l 3 bi-directional I/O ports (16 I/O pins).

          l P10-P17 (have wake-up function) can be used for segment driver.

          l P20-P23 (external interrupt pins) can be used for segment driver.

          l P40-P43 have wake-up function.

          l 32768Hz crystal oscillator with external crystal.

          l High frequency oscillator: RC oscillator, internal resistor (1.2MHz) or external

resistor (32KHz~ 4MHz)

          l 6 interrupt sources:

          l 4 external interrupt,

          l real time RTC overflow interrupt,

          l 1 internal counter & timer TCC overflow interrupt.

          l Built-in power on reset (POR)

          l Power-up Timer (PWRT) and Oscillator Start-up Timer (OST)

          l Watchdog Timer (WDT) with its own on-chip RC oscillator to prevent system stand still

          l 8-bit real time timer with overflow interrupt

          l One 8-bit counter with overflow interrupt

          l Built-in programmable sound generator (PJTMS)

          l CMOS technology for low power consumption.

          l Stand by current: < 1uA

          l Start up current: < 10mA

          Oscillator Configurations:

          l The CXLC8L280B can be operated in four different oscillator modes:

          l RC oscillator only with internal resistor (1.2MHz)

          l RC oscillator only with external resistor (32K Hz~ 4MHz)

          l 32768Hz Crystal oscillator + RC oscillator (set by software)

          l 32768Hz Crystal oscillator only (set by software)
