The CXLB7386 is a complete constant-current/constant-cj1嘉泰姆

voltage linear charger for single cell lithium-ion batteries.cj1嘉泰姆

Its ThinSOT package and low external component countcj1嘉泰姆

make the CXLB7386 ideally suited for portable applications.cj1嘉泰姆

Furthermore, the CXLB7386 is specifically designed tocj1嘉泰姆

work within USB power specifications.cj1嘉泰姆

No external sense resistor is needed, and no blockingcj1嘉泰姆

diode is required due to the internal MOSFET architecture.cj1嘉泰姆

Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit thecj1嘉泰姆

die temperature during high power operation or highcj1嘉泰姆

ambient temperature. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V,cj1嘉泰姆

and the charge current can be programmed externally withcj1嘉泰姆

a single resistor. The CXLB7386 automatically terminatescj1嘉泰姆

the charge cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10thcj1嘉泰姆

the programmed value after the final float voltage iscj1嘉泰姆

reached.cj1嘉泰姆

When the input supply (wall adapter or USB supply) iscj1嘉泰姆

removed, the CXLB7386 automatically enters a low currentcj1嘉泰姆

state, dropping the battery drain current to less than 2μA.cj1嘉泰姆

The CXLB7386 can be put into shutdown mode, reducingcj1嘉泰姆
