The APW8812 integrates dual step-down, constant-on-HXx嘉泰姆

time, synchronous PWM controllers (that drives dual N-HXx嘉泰姆

channel MOSFETs for each channel) and two low drop-HXx嘉泰姆

out regulators as well as various protections into a chip.HXx嘉泰姆

The PWM controllers step down high voltage of a batteryHXx嘉泰姆

to generate low-voltage for NB applications. The outputHXx嘉泰姆

of PWM1 and PWM2 can be adjusted from 2V to 5.5V byHXx嘉泰姆

setting a resistive voltage-divider from VOUTx to GND.HXx嘉泰姆

The linear regulators provide 5V and 3.3V output forHXx嘉泰姆

standby power supply. The linear regulators provide upHXx嘉泰姆

to 100mA output current. When the PWMx output voltageHXx嘉泰姆

is higher than LDOx bypass threshold, the related LDOxHXx嘉泰姆

regulator is shut off and its output is connected to VOUTxHXx嘉泰姆

by internal switchover MOSFET. It can save powerHXx嘉泰姆

dissipation. The charge pump circuit with 270kHz clockHXx嘉泰姆

driver uses VOUT1 as its power supply to generate ap-HXx嘉泰姆

proximately 15V DC voltage.HXx嘉泰姆

The APW8812 provides excellent transient response andHXx嘉泰姆

accurate DC output voltage in either PFM or PWM Mode.HXx嘉泰姆

In Pulse-Frequency Mode (PFM), the APW8812 providesHXx嘉泰姆

very high efficiency over light to heavy loads with loading-HXx嘉泰姆

modulated switching frequencies. The Forced-PWMHXx嘉泰姆

Mode works nearly at constant frequency for low-noiseHXx嘉泰姆

requirements. The unique ultrasonic mode maintains theHXx嘉泰姆

switching frequency above 25KHz, which eliminatesHXx嘉泰姆
