light loads, further extend battery life. Switching frequency is internally set at 1.2MHz, design for use of small value surface mount inductor, input andQCA嘉泰姆

The CXSU63034 is a synchronous step-up DC-DC converter.QCA嘉泰姆
It utilizes internal MOSFET switches to achieve highQCA嘉泰姆
efficiency over full load current range. It operates at aQCA嘉泰姆
fixed switching frequency of 1.2MHz, and uses theQCA嘉泰姆
slope compensated peak current mode pulse widthQCA嘉泰姆
modulation (PWM) architecture. The device canQCA嘉泰姆
operate with an input voltage below 1V and theQCA嘉泰姆
minimum start-up voltage is 0.85V.QCA嘉泰姆
2) Current Mode Operation QCA嘉泰姆
The CXSU63034 is based on a slope compensated peakQCA嘉泰姆
current mode PWM control topology. It operates at aQCA嘉泰姆
fixed frequency of 1.2MHz. At the beginning of eachQCA嘉泰姆
clock cycle, the main switch (NMOS) is turned on andQCA嘉泰姆
the inductor current starts to ramp. After the maximumQCA嘉泰姆
duty cycle or the sense current signal equals the errorQCA嘉泰姆
amplifier output, the main switch is turned off and theQCA嘉泰姆
synchronous switch (PMOS) is turned on. This controlQCA嘉泰姆
topology features cycle-by-cycle current limiting whichQCA嘉泰姆
can prevent the main switch from overstress and theQCA嘉泰姆
external inductor from saturating.QCA嘉泰姆
3) Synchronous Rectification QCA嘉泰姆
The CXSU63034 integrates a synchronous rectifier toQCA嘉泰姆
improve efficiency as well as to eliminate the need forQCA嘉泰姆
an external Schottky diode. The synchronous rectifier isQCA嘉泰姆
used to reduce the loss condition contributed by theQCA嘉泰姆
forward voltage of an external Schottky diode. TheQCA嘉泰姆
synchronous rectifier is realized by a P-channel MOSQCA嘉泰姆
(PMOS) with gate control circuitry that incorporatesQCA嘉泰姆
