The CXLB7386 is a complete constant-current/constant-ZeY嘉泰姆

voltage linear charger for single cell lithium-ion batteries.ZeY嘉泰姆

Its ThinSOT package and low external component countZeY嘉泰姆

make the CXLB7386 ideally suited for portable applications.ZeY嘉泰姆

Furthermore, the CXLB7386 is specifically designed toZeY嘉泰姆

work within USB power specifications.ZeY嘉泰姆

No external sense resistor is needed, and no blockingZeY嘉泰姆

diode is required due to the internal MOSFET architecture.ZeY嘉泰姆

Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit theZeY嘉泰姆

die temperature during high power operation or highZeY嘉泰姆

ambient temperature. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V,ZeY嘉泰姆

and the charge current can be programmed externally withZeY嘉泰姆

a single resistor. The CXLB7386 automatically terminatesZeY嘉泰姆

the charge cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10thZeY嘉泰姆

the programmed value after the final float voltage isZeY嘉泰姆

reached.ZeY嘉泰姆

When the input supply (wall adapter or USB supply) isZeY嘉泰姆

removed, the CXLB7386 automatically enters a low currentZeY嘉泰姆

state, dropping the battery drain current to less than 2μA.ZeY嘉泰姆

The CXLB7386 can be put into shutdown mode, reducingZeY嘉泰姆
